Session schedules are announced for the Oracle Open World 2013.
This year I am into 2 sessions with Jérôme Françoisse is co-speaking with me.
Session ID : CON4067
Session Title : Oracle Data Quality Solutions, Oracle GoldenGate, and Oracle Data Integrator on Oracle Exadata
Venue / Room : Moscone West – 2024
Date and Time : 9/23/13, 16:45 – 17:45
Abstract : (this session is selected by ACE Program, special thanks to Oracle ACE Program)
Oracle GoldenGate handles extraction for operational reporting, Oracle Enterprise Data Quality solutions leverage source-system-based data quality problems (misspells/duplications in defined/undefined conditions), and Oracle Data Integrator handles both tools and loads data into a data warehouse. These tools are engineered to work together while you control Oracle GoldenGate and Oracle Enterprise Data Quality solutions via Oracle Data Integrator on Oracle Exadata, faster and with little development effort, with Oracle Data Integrator tools. Simultaneously use Oracle Exadata’s extensive features for shorter ETL job duration and high availability. In this session, two Oracle Data Integration experts, one of them an Oracle ACE Director, share how these three tools are merged for use together.
Session ID : CON4070
Session Title : How to Handle DEV&TEST&PROD for Oracle Data Integrator
Venue / Room : Moscone West – 2012
Date and Time : 9/26/13, 14:00 – 15:00
Abstract : (this session is selected by @ODTUG, thanks to all ODTUG board members & executives)
Most of us have development teams apart from test and operation teams using different environments. And there are generally three different Oracle Data Integrator installations and repositories that each of the teams uses separately. Chaos is usually expected and actually happens when it is unclear who will test which development and what to deploy into production. In this session, two Oracle Data Integration experts, one of them an Oracle ACE Director, discuss how Oracle Data Integrator can handle your development hierarchy with ease of use and in a simplified/synchronized way for successful deployments.
