Oracle Magazine Jan-Feb 2012 Released

Oracle Magazine’s January-February 2012 issue is released online. As already announced I have received the award of  Oracle Excellence Awards, Technologist of the Year 2011 : Enterprise Architect (copied Oracle Magazine’s Editors’ Choice : Enterprise Architect of the Year).

Technologist of the Year 2011 : Enterprise Architect

I have honored with the award of Oracle Excellence Awards, Technologist of the Year 2011 : Enterprise Architect. This award is formerly known as Oracle Magazine’s Editors’ Choice : Enterprise Architect of the Year.

Although this seems to be a personal award, it surely is related to team. I’d like to thank a lot to the team members/managers who are supporting me both in Turkcell Technology, Turkcell and Oracle. I am proud to be a part of this brilliant team. But I need to emphasize Mr. Hasan Tonguc Yilmaz for his superior support. I feel him beside me all the time. Thank You Tonguc.

As far as I know I am the first and only guy to receive such award who is using ODI (Oracle Data Integator) and this is important to mention. I am accepting and dedicating this award to all ODI developers, architects and administrators all over the world.

One more thing, this is the second award that a Turkish Oracle guy receives it, the first one was Husnu Sensoy who got the 2009 DBA of the Year award. I am also proud to bring Turkey second award for Oracle.

Award trophy would be presented in Oracle Open World 2011 and will be announced in Oracle Magazine’s January-February 2012 issue.
